Whistleblower leads EFCC to N250m cash at Balogun market

A whistle blower gave a tip to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, informing them that a sum of N250 million cash was being moved somewhere within the market. The cash was to be converted into foreign currencies by the unnamed persons.

Operatives of the EFCC responded swiftly and were able to locate the store where the money was stored in a Bureau de Change, BDC, office in Balogun market.
